Sharing insights at the March MOREVER Meetup over cocktails and canapes
On a chilly Thursday evening in March we met up with an impressive group of women from the charity sector for our quarterly MOREVER Meetup at The Ruby Lucy Hotel in Waterloo. These quarterly events are hosted by our MD, Abi Mellor, in a central London venue as a chance to share insights into life in a senior marketing, brand or communications role in the sector.
Hosting these events is really important to us, because it allows us to connect the people we know who are at the front line of marketing in the sector, so that they can learn from each other, share insights and suggestions for the best approach to the challenges we’re all dealing with.
Every event is a free flowing conversation, and there’s always a lot of ground to cover!
This time we were joined by expert marketers from Walking With The Wounded, Place2Be, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children's Charity and Mind as we chatted about a wide range of topics including:
- How our teams are structured and what works best.
- The differences between marketing in the commercial sector and the third sector, and what we can learn from each other.
- Brainstorming new ideas for charity brand awareness.
The MOREVER Meetups currently happen once every three months and are an excellent opportunity to network with women from the charity sector.
